Anthony Palange Jr. was born September 17, 1942 in New Haven, Conn. He completed his first novel by age 16 and moved to California in 1967 with aspirations to write for television. Palange relocated to Denver, Colo. in 1981 where he started a gay and lesbian acting troupe named the Queen City Players in the early 1990s. He also produced G/L Magazine on Public Access Television, a show that dealt with gay and lesbian issues in Denver and Colo. In 1993, Palange filed a complaint against Denver Community Television, Inc. for censorship and won the case. He died June 12, 2013 in Denver, Colo.
