Cleo Parker Robinson is an American dancer, choreographer, and arts leader based in Denver. She is the founder and artistic director of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, an organization she has led for more than 40 years that includes a professional ensemble, youth programs, a school of dance, an international summer institute, a theater, and community outreach efforts. She has taught and performed internationally across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas, and is recognized as a cultural ambassador and master teacher. Robinson has received numerous honors from civic and artistic organizations, including state and city awards, hall of fame inductions, and multiple honorary doctorates. She has also served on national arts boards, including an appointment to the National Council on the Arts, and has been recognized for her contributions to dance, education, and community service throughout her career.
