Summary:
Chef: A chef who loses his restaurant job starts up a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family.
Julie & Julia: Julie Powell is a frustrated insurance worker who wants to be a writer. Trying to find a challenge in her life, she decides to cook her way through Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in one year, and to blog about it. As Julie begins to find her groove as a cook, and her voice as a writer, the project takes on a life of its own. The project provides the struggling young woman with her life's purpose, to her very pleasant surprise. Julia Child has an amazing love affair with her dashing husband Paul, all while embracing life and French food. Julie lovingly celebrates the life on one of American food's most influential and beloved figureheads.
No Reservations: A perfectionist chef addicted to her work struggles to adjust when her sister passes away, leaving her with a little girl to raise, and a new sous chef threatens to take over her kitchen with his high-spirited and free-wheeling ways.
Sausage Party: A misplaced sausage and his savory friends embark on an existential adventure through the aisles of a massive supermarket in this raunchy animated comedy. As the store's annual 4th of July sale draws near, the perishable pals must return to their rightful places on the shelves before the customers come flooding in to fill their carts.
Waiting: Dean and Monty are two longtime friends who work as waiters as Shenanigan's, a "fun" chain restaurant. Both have been working at the restaurant for about four years and it has only recently occurred to Dean that he has nothing to show for his life but a community college diploma and his name tag from work. He has developed a sudden urgency to make something of himself. Monty, on the other hand, is more interested in making time with the women on the restaurant's wait staff than accomplishing anything. Over the course of an evening at Shenanigan's, Dean and Monty confront obnoxious customers; train timid new employee Mitch; deal with the wildly eccentric chef Raddimus; control-freak manager Dan; and various other kitchen staff who are either crazed cooks, prep workers, or dish-washers.
